COUNTERTOP WRAPS

Why wrap your countertops?

A friend of mine was quoted between $4,000-4,500 for new countertops for just the material not including the time and labor for removal and installation. So they inquired about a vinyl wrap instead to see what the difference would be.

We started with them sending over dimensions and rough sketch or photos of their space so we could provide a quote. They sent photos of patterns they liked. Then we printed them samples that they took home to choose from. Once chosen we got it printed and scheduled the install. This installation took roughly 2 hours and completely changed the entire space.

Materials only for this entire kitchen was $425.00 installation $150.00 for a grand total of $575.00. This saved them a ton of money while still getting the updated look they were hoping for!

This is why I LOVE vinyl it saves people so much time and money as well as saving perfectly good countertops that were just outdated from getting sent to the dump.

Other questions asked -

It is heat resistant up to 350 degrees so being next to the oven, stove, or dishwasher is no issue.

While it is heat resistant we do not recommend setting hot pans directly on it, use a hot pad. We also don’t recommend cutting directly on it, use a cutting board.

Yes, you can move and slide stuff around on it without scratching it but use your common sense. If it’s a really heavy object or has a rough edge to it pick it up and move it, don’t drag it across. We slide bowls, utensils, food and other items around, spill stuff and use it as normal without any issues.

It lasts as long as you take care of it. There are still countertops I wrapped over 7 years ago that look good as new.

You can clean it as you normally do.

To remove - It removes cleanly if you use heat to reactivate the vinyl for removal. If any small amounts are left behind you can remove it with rubbing alcohol very easily.

It is water resistant and won’t fade since we laminate everything. There are different laminate finishes to choose from - matte, satin or gloss.

What is the process and how do I get started?

  • First - Dimensions & Photos

Start by snapping some photos of your space or project. Try to take straight on photos with good light. Then make a rough sketch of the layout as well as sizes of your project width x height x depth.

  • Second - Samples & Pricing

Once we receive the dimensions and photos we can provide pricing as well as send over different patterns to choose from. We have samples on hand that you’re welcome to check out or we can print and mail samples for $5 each. This way you can lay them out and see what you like most before purchasing.

  • Third - Print & Production

Next up we begin printing the countertop based off of the specs we receive including some bleed to make sure everything is covered. Backsplashes are printed separately for easy installation. The counter and front edge is all one piece.

  • Fourth - Installation

If you’re installing we send step by step directions on how to properly install. We use air-release vinyl which allows any bubbles to be pushed out with the heat and pressure of your fingers. We also laminate it with water resistant and durable vinyl which helps with everyday wear and tear.

We also offer installation services up to a certain distance.
